Performance and style for every car
The ST sports springs are made of silicon-chrome steel in a cold winding process and feature multiple layers and an epoxy finish; these ensure OEM quality and an OEM finish. As a result, they are resistant to all kinds of weather conditions all year round. Depending on the vehicle model, ST sports springs allow a lowering of approximately 20 mm on the front axle and 15 mm on the rear axle. With some vehicles a much greater lowering is possible; the VW Golf Mk1 can be lowered by up to 60 mm on both front and rear axles! Compared to standard trim, the center of gravity lowering of ST sports springs allows for much better driving dynamics and much better handling. In addition, compression and rebound damping are also lowered, making the car more agile, with less roll.
The ideal spring rate for every car
The spring rates of ST sports springs are designed to work perfectly with standard dampers to ensure that driving dynamics are improved and are as safe as possible. Vehicle weight, wheel load and level of lowering have a huge impact on a car's compression and rebound damping, so it's crucial not to compromise on this. Depending on the level of lowering (for example 20, 30 or 40 mm), ST sports springs have different spring rates that are matched to the standard shock absorbers. Simply put: the more lowering, the higher the spring rate.
Huge choice
ST sports springs are not only available for new vehicles, such as the Audi A7 Sportback or the Mercedes Benz E-Class; even for classic and rare models such as the BMW M30 and the Mk1 Golf, you will find the perfect sports suspension in the suspension range from ST!
