Specifically developed for highlighting defects in paintwork and gloss plastics, the Swirl Seeker utilises a 3W LED bulb to emit 120 Lumens of super-bright, crisp white light. This intense light source is designed to emulate direct sunlight to highlight defects such as swirl marks, holograms and scratches to make any machine polishing stages that need to be carried out safer and more straightforward. These are the type of small blemishes that may not be immediately noticeable to the naked eye, but will always rear their ugly head when your car is subjected to real-world light sources such as strong sunshine or street lamps.
Using a detailing light to identify these defects before and during any polishing stage helps you to make the correct choice of polish or compound that will get the best finish.
The machine polishing process is one of the more advanced detailing stages. Here we use abrasives to physically remove defects and refine paintwork to a flawless finish. The Swirl Seeker makes these defects and flaws easier to identify along the way – the best measure to ensure that you get the best results from all cutting and refining tasks.
